The Alliance for Excellent Education (Alliance) is an organization dedicated to ensuring that every child graduates from high school prepared to excel in the modern workforce. In 2005, the Alliance selected GPS to design and implement a civil rights outreach initiative that engaged communities of color in the high school reform debate. This GPS effort resulted in the creation of the Campaign for High School Equity (www.highschoolequity.org), a multi-racial and multi-ethnic civil rights coalition focused on preparing every student for graduation, college, work and life. This initiative has been funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.
