The Attorneys General Settlement and Communities of Color
The National Mortgage Settlement, an agreement between 49 state attorneys general, was designed to provide up to $25 billion in relief to borrowers in eligible states who lost their homes to foreclosure. This summit will explore this landmark settlement in the context of ongoing issues facing communities of color, a group hardest hit by deceptive mortgage lending practices.
